Envisioning the Downtown that Young Professionals Want

On Friday, October 9, from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m., the Young Professionals of the Naperville Chamber will have an opportunity to make their mark on downtown Naperville at YPN’s monthly business meeting.

At Friday’s meeting, the next generation of business and civic leaders, who make up YPN, will participate in a exercises with the City of Naperville’s planning staff to gather your input on building heights, walkability, and the strengths and weakness for downtown Naperville.

Friday’s meeting will include interactive opportunities for attendees to contribute, share their thoughts and provide leadership through an important planning exercise. The Downtown 2030 planning exercise is to ensure that downtown remains a vibrant, attractive and distinct location, similar to the progress achieved after implementation of the 2000 Downtown Naperville Plan.

The meeting will take place in Conference Room A, Suite 375, in the Chamber’s offices in the Main Street Promenade. Reservations for YPN’s business meetings are not necessary, individuals interested in learning more about YPN’s October Business Meeting may contact Patrick Skarr, Vice President of Advocacy, Economic Growth & Quality of Life at (630) 544-3368.
