DutiesWe are looking for a dynamic individual to join our production team. If you are looking for a fast-paced, technology-driven environment to provide a widely needed service to all types of customers, contact us. The right individual will be a quick study, professional, aggressive, and not afraid of a fast paced environment. • Prepress set up in Adobe based platforms (Acrobat Indesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator & PhotoShop) for both Mac & PC, QuarkXPress for Mac and Microsoft Products • Communicating with customers • Consistent follow-up on production activity; telephone & written • Developing and maintaining accurate customer files based on production work flow • Learning and developing a team attitude to help meet and exceed the goals of each profit center: high speed duplicating, color copying, offset printing and design services • Optimizing the work level to streamline the production flow • Developing themselves as a team player and critical to the production process
Experience Required• Knowledge of Adobe based platforms (Acrobat, Indesign, Pagemaker, Illustrator, & PhotoShop) for both Mac & PC, QuarkXPress for Mac and Microsoft Products • Energetic self-starter, driven to succeed • Excellent written and verbal skills • Maintain a consistent professional appearance • Unafraid of change or technology • Proven record of success • Prior print industry experience a plus The right person will develop, implement and maintain the prepress/design portion of the production function within the store. Accordingly, the right person will work diligently toward becoming an integral part of the existing Sir Speedy team and work in harmony with the other members toward a common goal.
